Home Star Special Events We'll gladly assist you with pretty much any event. We regret that we can't pass along requests for free performances at charity events or fundraisers. Entertainers make it look easy, and hey, what's an hour? But what you're not seeing is the time they invest in writing and rehearsing, working on their marketing, the hundreds of hours they invest in travel or even the time they spend sitting around in airports waiting for the connecting flight. Entertaining is a job, same as yours, and giving up a Saturday night is tantamount to giving up the whole week. No stranger would ask you to take a week off work for their pet charity, and we can't ask our entertainers to do it, either. We would consider it disrespectful. |
